Define the need. Design the solution. Deliver the change.

Use a Business Ecosystem Blueprint when the problem, opportunity, or new capability needs to be understood and turned into a decision-ready plan. Use Managed Delivery when the direction is clear and you need OpTheory to organize the people, work, integrations, and quality required to build or implement it.

Business Ecosystem Blueprint

A decision-ready plan before you spend on implementation.

Each Blueprint starts with a defined business problem, operating area, opportunity, or initiative. OpTheory examines what is happening now, identifies root causes and dependencies where relevant, defines what should exist or change, and turns the work into a prioritized roadmap.

Depending on scope, the engagement may include current-state analysis, process and workflow mapping, requirements, customer or employee journeys, technology and data dependencies, root-cause analysis, future-state design, architecture considerations, and implementation sequencing.

You leave with agreed deliverables you can use to make decisions and move forward with your own team, another provider, or a separately scoped OpTheory Managed Delivery engagement.

Focused Blueprint engagements start at $3,500. Multi-workstream or technically complex analysis is quoted separately. Implementation is not included in the Blueprint fee, and the fee is not automatically credited toward Managed Delivery.

Managed Delivery

Turn an approved plan into accountable execution.

Built for the real world, not just the project plan.

OpTheory takes a human-centered, user-centered approach to transformation and new solution delivery. We consider the people who use the solution, the teams affected by it, the workflows it supports or changes, the systems and data it must connect with, and the business outcome it is meant to support.

A release can be technically complete, well documented, and still be functionally useless in practice. Deployed is not the same as successful. Managed Delivery is structured to reduce that gap by combining business analysis, user-centered thinking, technical execution, operational context, quality review, and acceptance criteria.

Build from the ground up

Not every engagement begins with an existing problem. Sometimes the capability does not exist yet. OpTheory can design and manage the delivery of new websites, digital platforms, portals, workflows, integrations, automations, and supporting technology ecosystems.

We consider the users, business process, data, systems, dependencies, integrations, and operational requirements around the solution so what gets built works as part of the larger business, not as an isolated piece of technology.

OpTheory structures the engagement, assembles the specialists required for the work, and manages delivery across agreed workstreams. If you already have a credible roadmap, requirements set, implementation plan, or sufficiently defined build concept, we can assess it and determine whether the work is ready to move directly into delivery.

Depending on the project, responsibilities may include delivery planning, business analysis, architecture, development or platform configuration, integrations, APIs, data work, UX/UI, testing, documentation, deployment, and change enablement.

Clients receive defined responsibilities, milestones, quality gates, acceptance criteria, and change control. OpTheory manages delivery and internal quality review through handover and client acceptance.

Delivery is scoped and priced separately. No implementation commitment is made until the required capabilities, dependencies, availability, and commercial terms have been confirmed.

Capabilities organized around the outcome

  • Business strategy and analysis: Business architecture, operating models, requirements, product operations, and process design.
  • Engagement and program leadership: Stakeholder coordination, workstream management, dependencies, risk, and change control.
  • Enterprise and solution architecture: Enterprise, solution, technical, integration, data, cloud, and security architecture expertise, where appropriately scoped and staffed.
  • Technology and data: Websites and digital platforms, engineering, platform implementation, APIs, integrations, automation, and data delivery.
  • Experience, quality, and adoption: Research, UX/UI, testing, accessibility, documentation, training, and change enablement.

Questions before you begin

The goal is not to force every client through the same package. We start with the work you actually need and the evidence you already have.

Do we need a Blueprint before Managed Delivery?

Not always. If your organization already has a credible roadmap, requirements, implementation plan, or sufficiently defined build concept, OpTheory can assess whether it is ready for delivery. Targeted validation or additional definition may be recommended before execution if material gaps or risks are identified.

Can OpTheory build a new website, platform, or digital solution from scratch?

Yes. OpTheory can scope and manage greenfield digital builds when the required capabilities, dependencies, integrations, and delivery needs are understood. Depending on complexity, the engagement may begin with a focused Blueprint or move directly into Managed Delivery when requirements are sufficiently defined.

What does a Business Ecosystem Blueprint include?

The exact deliverables depend on scope. A Blueprint may include discovery findings, current-state analysis, root-cause analysis, requirements, process or customer-journey design, technology and data dependencies, future-state recommendations, and a prioritized implementation roadmap. Your proposal identifies the specific outputs for your engagement.

What does “starting at $3,500” mean?

$3,500 is the starting price for a tightly defined Blueprint engagement. Work involving multiple functions, platforms, stakeholder groups, technical dependencies, or enterprise-level complexity is scoped and priced separately after qualification.

What kinds of problems are a good fit for OpTheory?

OpTheory is best suited to work where the outcome crosses more than one workflow, team, system, data source, or decision. That can be a tightly bounded operational issue, a new digital capability, a cross-functional change initiative, or a complex enterprise program. The common thread is that the result depends on more than one isolated fix or deliverable.

How is Managed Delivery priced?

Managed Delivery is priced separately from the Blueprint. Pricing reflects the approved scope, required disciplines, workstreams, timeline, dependencies, delivery risk, and level of governance. The commercial terms are defined before implementation begins.

Can OpTheory work with our existing team or implementation partners?

Yes. OpTheory can lead an engagement, coordinate with internal teams, or work alongside existing technology vendors and implementation partners. Responsibilities, decision rights, dependencies, and quality expectations are established during scoping.

How long does an engagement take?

Timing depends on the problem or build, stakeholder availability, discovery depth, technical complexity, dependencies, and deliverables. A proposed schedule is provided after the initial inquiry and qualification process, once the scope and dependencies are understood.

What happens after we submit a project inquiry?

OpTheory reviews the inquiry for fit, scope, timing, and the appropriate engagement model. If there is a potential fit, we follow up for clarification and, when appropriate, prepare a scoped proposal and Statement of Work. Submitting an inquiry does not create an engagement or reserve delivery capacity.
